Ingredients (makes 5 dozen cookies):
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time
- Gradually beat in flour. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by tbsp. onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes until golden brown.
- Let set two minutes, then cool on a cooling rack.
